BA (Bright Annealing) steel pipes will definitely require grease lubrication during the drawing process, and the grains will also deform due to processing. Argon gas is used as the atmosphere inside the furnace to further clean the surface of the steel pipe by combining with carbon oxygen on the surface of the steel pipe and burning it to produce a bright surface effect. Therefore, this method of using pure argon gas annealing to heat and rapidly cool to brighten the surface is called brilliant annealing. Although this method of brightening the surface can ensure that the steel pipe is fully clean and free of any external pollution. But if the brightness of this surface is compared with other polishing methods such as mechanical, chemical, and electrolytic polishing, there will be a feeling of overlapping haze. Of course, its effect is also related to the content of argon gas and the number of heating cycles.

EP (Electro Polishing) is a method of brightening surfaces that utilizes anodic treatment to adjust voltage, current, acid composition, and polishing time appropriately based on the principles of electrochemistry. It not only achieves a bright, smooth, and clean surface, but also improves the surface's corrosion resistance. Therefore, the cost and technology of this method are also increased. However, because electrolytic polishing will highlight the original state of the steel pipe surface, if there are serious scratches or holes on the steel pipe surface.
